Accounts do not exist yet on CelebHot; here is what already works on your device.
Sign-in is not available. CelebHot's demo version has no accounts, no passwords and no member area, so there is nothing to log in to and nothing to register for. Please do not enter a password anywhere on this site.
Why there is no sign-in
The site has no backend. It is a static demonstration, which means there is no server holding profiles, and we have no way to recognize you from one visit to the next other than what your own browser remembers. Accounts may be explored in future, and this page would be updated if that ever happens.
It is worth saying plainly because many sites make signing in look routine. Here, any button or link that mentions an account or member area simply leads back to this explanation. Nothing is being verified, nothing is being stored about who you are, and nobody is watching your activity from the other side of the screen.
What works right now
Several features work without an account, because they run entirely on your device:
- Saving stories to read later.
- Choosing a light or dark theme.
- Voting in polls and reacting to stories.
- Keeping an email in the newsletter or VIP waitlist form.
Where your settings live
All of the above is stored in your browser's localStorage. That has two consequences. Your saved stories will not follow you to a different browser or device, and clearing your site data resets everything. Our Cookie Notice lists exactly what is stored and how to clear it.
Need help or have a request?
If you have a question about how the site works, email [email protected], a placeholder address for this demo. For privacy questions use [email protected]. Thanks for browsing the illustrative launch edition.
If accounts do arrive one day, expect a clear announcement, a fresh privacy notice and an explanation of what would be collected before anything is switched on.
