Privacy Policy
How this demo version of CelebHot handles your data: very little, and only on your own device.
This is the privacy notice for the demo version of CelebHot. The short version: there are no accounts, no tracking and no server collecting your details. Everything the site remembers about you stays in your own browser.
What stays on your device
CelebHot uses your browser's localStorage to remember a few conveniences. None of it is sent to us.
- Your light or dark theme preference.
- Stories you save to read later.
- Your votes and reactions on polls and stories.
- The email address you type into the newsletter or VIP waitlist form, kept on this device only.
Clear your browser's site data and all of it disappears. We cannot see it, recover it or move it to another device.
We keep this notice deliberately short and honest. If you are ever unsure what a feature does with your information, the answer for this demo is almost always that it works inside your own browser and goes nowhere else. You can inspect or delete that data yourself through your browser's developer tools or settings at any time.
Third-party requests
The site is not fully self-contained. When a page loads, your browser contacts outside services, which means those services can see your IP address and browser details under their own policies.
- Google Fonts, for typefaces and icons.
- The Tailwind CDN, for page styling.
- Hot-linked images served from third-party hosts.
What we do not do
This demo version has no analytics, no advertising, no ad tracking and no accounts. We do not sell or share personal data, because we do not collect any on a server. Forms on the site open your email app through a mailto link, so anything you send reaches us only when you press send in your own mail program.
Contact and changes
Questions about privacy can go to [email protected], a placeholder address for this demo. If the site grows to include accounts, analytics or advertising, this notice will be rewritten before any of those features switch on.
Before launch: this text describes a demo and is not legal advice. We recommend a qualified legal review before any public, production launch.
