Machine Gun Kelly Rehashes Eminem Beef, Says He Did Not Win

 

 

 

Machine Gun Kelly has once again sparked controversy by reigniting his long-standing feud with Eminem.

This time, the drama unfolded in the comments section of a YouTube review by Scru Face Jean, a well-known YouTuber who recently reviewed MGK’s latest track, “BMXXing.”

 

MGK seized the opportunity to challenge the widely held belief that Eminem emerged victorious in their past beef, setting the stage for another heated debate among fans.

 

In his review, Scru Face Jean drew parallels between “BMXXing” and the work of the late Mac Miller, praising MGK’s efforts but ultimately siding with Eminem in their infamous feud. He stated:

Now, there’s some people who already wrote MGK off. There is the most extreme Eminem fans and Stans who will never like this ni–a just because he went into a battle against Eminem which I don’t understand because I respect people who go into battles. Eminem won. I got Eminem winning but MGK really stood up and fought. There is a lot of people who were afraid to say something about Em so I gotta respect him for that.”

While Scru gave Eminem the edge, he acknowledged MGK’s bravery and effort in the battle.

However, MGK wasn’t content with this assessment. He responded directly to Scru’s video, offering insights into the locations where “BMXXing” was filmed and then dropping a bombshell:

Eminem’s “Killshot” and MGK’s “Rap Devil” remain iconic tracks in the history of rap feuds. Despite the passage of time, it seems the wounds from this battle have not fully healed, as evidenced by MGK’s recent comments.

Eminem and Slim Shady have finally sat down for a conversation in a new teaser trailer. The Complex-produced visual, titled The Face-Off, was released on Friday (July 26) and features Eminem, or Marshall Mathers rather, confronting his alter ego, Slim Shady.

The short echoes the theme of Eminem’s latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), with Slim Shady seemingly detailing why he has suddenly resurfaced. “I’m back because you got your nuts tucked so tightly between your legs f**king Caitlyn Jenner would be jealous,” Slim wisecracks at Mathers’ expense. “Yo, are you just, like, allergic to not being an a**hole?” Marshall snarkily quips back.

As he continues, the Detroit emcee details why Slim Shady “can’t be canceled,” comparing him to a Family Guy character or Cartman from South Park. “Every other week on TikTok, Gen Z discovers you on Monday and cancels me on Tuesday,” Marshall adds. Slim Shady continues to mock the legendary rapper before digitally disappearing into the “Detroit multiverse.” The official Complex YouTube channel offers a description of The Face-Off event, which is set to go down on Monday (July 29).

“Somewhere in the Detroit multiverse, Slim Shady has escaped his 2002 timeline and popped through a portal to terrorize 2024,” a description for the video details. “A serial offender with no shortage of targets, Slim’s really back with Terminator-type tenacity, bent on taking out the very man that sired him: Marshall Mathers. In The Face-Off—a digital short created in collaboration with Complex—Slim and Marshall spar with the gloves off in an 11-minute roast battle that bends space and time and shatters civility. Only when the dust settles do we discover which one wins the war for the soul of Eminem.”

Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly’s feud last year was a hard one to call. However, it looks like The Game saw a clear winner.

During an interview on Real 92.3 LA, the rapper revealed that he believes MGK won. “Em did what I expected Em to do, but nothing to catch up into where hip-hop is today,” Game said at around the 15:35 mark. “I feel like Machine Gun Kelly really gave his all, like a young, hungry dude did. Eminem was Eminem—it was great. Before I heard Machine Gun Kelly, I was like, ‘Oh Eminem.’”

 

 

 

 

 

Last August, Em dropped his surprise album Kamikaze, where he attacked MGK (and several others) on the song “Not Alike.” This led MGK to mock Em’s Rap God pseudonym and release the diss track “Rap Devil.” Kelly’s diss apparently lit a fire in Em, as he quickly shot back with his own retort, “Kill Shot.”

But it was difficult to determine who was the victor. Many thought “Rap Devil” was a more entertaining track, but Em’s “Kill Shot” made YouTube history when it premiered with the most debut views for a rap video.

In the interview, Game also discussed how he made 600 songs for his latest album, Born 2 Rap, Dr. Dre mixed the song “Welcome Home” with Nipsey Hussle, and more.

Uh oh! Did Cardi B rip off other artists to make her latest hit??

 

The rapper has been sued by producers Joshua Fraustro and Miguel Aguilar, who go by Kemika 1956, who claim she stole portions of Sten Joddi‘s 2021 song Greasy Frybread to make her top 10 hit Enough (Miami).

In court documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop on Wednesday, Cardi was sued alongside her labels Atlantic Records and Warner Music Group, and producers OG Parker and DJ SwanQo. They’re accused of using portions of Greasy Frybread without permission to craft the new song.

The suit was filed in Texas, per Valley Central, and accuses the group of copyright infringement that caused the original creators “substantial damages,” including financial losses and irreparable harm to their artistic reputation and marketability. According to the outlet, the Plaintiffs are demanding $50 million in damages. Wow!

By the way, Greasy Frybread wasn’t some random track on the internet, either! So, it’s very possible someone on the Grammy winner’s team caught wind of the song and used it as inspiration.

Fraustro and Kemika 1956 originally released Greasy Frybread in November 2021 and it was then used in promotion for the FX series Reservation Dogs. Three years later, in March 2024, Enough (Miami) came out and sounded VERY similar. Take a listen to both (below):

Cardi B said she did not ask her estranged husband, Offset, for child support in her divorce filing.

On Saturday, the “WAP” rapper revealed the child support news while clarifying reports that the Migos rapper was “unsupportive” during their marriage.

“Ok this is getting weird cause I can say he helps me a lot with my business and the kids,” she wrote in the comments section of the Jasmine Brand’s Instagram post.

“Never in my career no matter what I went through I had friends or family go to the media sooo I don’t know who is this damn source going to people magazine..Even wit my filling I’m not askin for child support my claim is for him to only pay for the bills he already pays on the kids and the new one.”

Page Six exclusively reported that Cardi — born Belcalis Almánzar — filed for divorce from Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, on Wednesday.

The Grammy winner, who is currently pregnant with her and Offset’s third child, asked for primary custody of their children: Kulture, 6, and Wave, 2.

An insider told us infidelity had nothing to do with why the couple, who secretly tied the knot in 2017, split.

The insider also added that the divorce was not “something that happened overnight.”

Rumors of infidelity have plagued Cardi and Offset’s marriage for years.

The “I Like It” emcee previously filed for divorce in 2020 but later reconciled with the “Bad and Boujee” rapper.

And in December 2023, Cardi confirmed they called it quits again after the dad of five denied cheating with Chrisean Rock.

Cardi B, who is pregnant with her third child amid her divorce from Offset, has confirmed he is the father.

In her divorce filing, which was obtained by TMZ Friday, the “WAP” rapper, 31, noted the paternity as part of her request for child support.

She and the Migos member, 32, are also parents to daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 2.

Per the outlet, Cardi’s petition confirms that she is seeking primary custody of their three kids, which Page Six was first to report along with the news of their divorce.

She also reportedly wants all the personal property they acquired during their seven-year marriage to be divided equally.

According to TMZ, there is no explicit mention of a prenuptial agreement, and Cardi cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

Reps for the estranged couple did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Offset seemingly rapped that he is “single” and “this tension is old” in a song that has yet to be released.
