VIDEO: Raiders QB Aidan O’Connell Reveals Who’s To Blame For The Team’s Heartbreaking Loss To Chiefs

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Aidan O’Connell had a blunt and honest answer as to who should be blamed for the team’s heartbreaking loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Black Friday.

The 2-9 Raiders were close to upsetting the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs, thanks to a remarkable effort by the second-year quarterback. Aidan O’Connell threw for 340 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in a 19-17 loss.

Las Vegas was in field range (at the Kansas City 32) for Daniel Carlson. Facing a 3rd-and-3 situation with 15 seconds left, O’Connell couldn’t corral the snap from center Jackson Powers-Johnson, and the Chiefs scooped up the ball to seal the win:

There was confusion for several moments, as everyone anxiously awaited the penalty call. The Raiders were flagged for an illegal shift, so the Chiefs’ takeaway was upheld in a tight two-point win.

After the game, Aidan O’Connell pointed the finger at himself and shifted the blame away from Powers-Johnson.

“It’s completely my fault,” O’Connell said, per Nick Walters of KTNV. “Jackson did exactly what he should have done, and I clapped too early…there’s nobody to blame but myself.”

Aidan O’Connell Gave The Raiders A Chance

Aidan O’Connell will be commended (as he should be) for refusing to blame his teammates in the loss. But it’s also hard to put the blame on a quarterback who dominated one of football’s best defenses and gave his team every opportunity to win, despite being vastly short-handed against the defending champs.

Las Vegas is in the running for the first-overall pick. The fact that O’Connell nearly led Vegas to victory should only inspire his confidence.

Al Michael and Kirk Herbstreit will be in the Booth for Sunday’s Black Friday game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders.

However, Michaels had a very weird topic of conversation when he compared Chiefs tight end Noah Gray to Aaron Hernandez.

    T

It was just about the Chief’s use of double tight ends similar to Bill Belichick with Rob Gronkowski and Hernandez, which was extremely innovative then, but it was still odd for Michaels to say.

Social Media Couldn’t Believe Al Michael’s Comment

Sometimes, the weird things announcers say during a game go noticed, but not this moment for Michaels.

“There’s at least a 47% chance Al doesn’t remember what happened to Aaron Hernandez anymore,” said one comment.

“Let’s hope that’s *all* he has in common with Aaron Hernandez,” said another.

“Al Michaels gives zero Fs. I love it!” added a fourth.

You have to imagine that the NFL’s higher-ups would not be happy for Michaels to mention that name during a primetime game.

Former NFL quarterback Andrew Luck is returning to football.

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Luck is headed back to Stanford to become the Cardinal’s general manager.

“Former Stanford star Andrew Luck is returning to the Cardinal to become the football program’s general manager, Luck told ESPN,” Thamel wrote. “Luck has accepted a new role at Stanford, which will place him above the entire program and is a distinct evolution from the traditional college GM.”

The four-time Pro Bowler is set to fill a newly created position that will hand him authority over the entire program. He will be involved in all football matters, including managing the coaching staff, player personnel staff, recruiting, roster management, and the student-athlete experience.

“I’m excited,” the 35-year-old told ESPN. “I think Stanford is taking an assertive and innovative step. We’re undoubtedly the best athletic department in college sports. We have to re-prove it in football, and we’re excited to be part of that challenge.”

The Cardinal has had five losing seasons over the past six years, but it’s hoped that Luck’s arrival will foster a turnaround.

Andrew Luck Is Going To “Run Football” Following An Insightful Conversation

The former QB told ESPN the idea came up during a conversation with president Jonathan Levin, who asked him, “Why don’t you run football, Andrew?” when they spoke a month ago.

“I sort of have to,” he laughed. “This makes too much sense. I would not do this at any other place, not just me, but my wife too. It’s a special place for me and a lot of people.”

Andre Luck is the most decorated player to come out of Stanford in the past generation.

A two-time runner-up for the Heisman Trophy, he was drafted as the No. 1 overall pick in 2011.

Unfortunately, injuries forced him to retire just eight years later in 2019. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2022.

VIDEO: Concerned Fans Think Something Is Seriously Wrong With Travis Kelce Because Of His Strange Actions After Chiefs Win vs. Raiders

On Friday, the Kansas City Chiefs and Travis Kelce won a nailbiter against the Las Vegas Raiders, surrounded by much controversy.

The score was 19-17, and it was far from a pretty win for the now 11-1 and defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs.

Kelce might not have been happy with how Kansas City walked away with the win.

After the final whistle, he was filled walking back to the locker room, and he was not his usual cheerful self after a big win.

Many social media users do not think there might have been more at work than being upset about the game’s outcome.

“Maybe yes he’s a little annoyed by the people in front of the camera,” said one comment.

“When you date someone like Taylor swift you will always get pissed with everyone….he mad maybe someone said something bad,” said another.

“That side-eye says it all,” wrote a third.

“I wouldn’t be a happy camper either if I almost lost to the 2-10 raiders,” a fourth said.

“Well considering the way they won, I’d be mad too,” added another.

“It looks like Travis is in some kind of uncomfortable situation. Maybe he’s upset for no particular reason and is in a hurry,” another stated.

“He missed a block on the 3 and 2 play at the end of the game that would have essentially ended the game. Worthy scores or is tackled around the two yard line. This is almost certainly what he is frustrated about,” someone pointed out.

Travis Kelce Had A Solid Game Against The Raiders

There’s no doubt that Kelce is having a down year, which makes sense, considering he’s now 35.

However, he had a very productive game against the Raiders, reeling in seven receptions for 68 yards. Unfortunately, though, he ran a wrong route in the endzone, which, if done correctly, could have ended in a touchdown.

Kelce heating up is exactly what Kansas City needs now that the playoffs are approaching.

REPORT: Kansas City Chiefs Executed Emergency Plan After Patrick Mahomes Showed His Frustration During Lucky Win Over Raiders

The Kansas City Chiefs have hardly played great football this season, yet they are somehow 11-1, having beaten the Las Vegas Raiders in a tight Black Friday affair.

The Chiefs have won in very strange ways this term. Whether or not it’s sustainable enough to get them that third-straight Super Bowl is something left to debate. But opposing fans can’t take much more of teams literally handing them games.

Andy Reid had to watch his squad scrape through Friday’s contest, but he worked for his salary as he implemented an emergency plan that saw All-Pro guard Joe Thuney replace left tackle Wanya Morris.

“He’s playing against a couple of good players,” Reid said on Morris’ struggles, per The Kansas City Star. “But you gotta do better than what we did there.”

Patrick Mahomes, who endured rough treatment as linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson had a career night, was visibly frustrated. At one point, the quarterback was seen holding out his hands in a questioning gesture as if to ask how much more he should take.

The Kansas City Chiefs Cannot Continue To Rely On Luck

Ultimately, Mahomes and the Chiefs found themselves in the W column, thanks to a botched snap, but they know they will not be able to rely on luck the rest of the way.

“There’s no better time to learn than when you get your a** beat,” Morris said after the game. “It sucks to get your a** beat, but when you get your (rear-end) beat, you can have two responses: You can lay down, or you can get back up and try something new. I’m going to get back up and try something new.”

Who knows if he will be handed that opportunity now?

NFL fans and other social media users are praying for Randy Moss following a worrying revelation.

The former star wide receiver posted a video to Instagram this Sunday in which he disclosed he’s been dealing with a health issue and asking for prayers.

“Throughout the week of the holidays, your boy has been battling something internally,” he said. “I just ask for all the prayer warriors to put their blessed hands on me and my family through these hard times.”

Moss added that he’s got the best support possible while urging men to get their checks done, hinting it has something to do with his eyes before putting on a pair of sunglasses.

“I got a great team of doctors and got a great family around me, man,” he continued. “All you men, do your checkups, go get your blood work done, and we’ll get through it.”

Randy Moss Draws Immense Support From Social Media

Randy Moss’ appeared to be in great spirits while delivering the health update, but you could tell fans were feeling it for him.

“Sending prayers and strength your way. 🙏🏾💪🏾🙏🏾,” someone wrote in the comments.

“🙏🏾’s continue to go up, that we all stay healthy & wealthy ! Blessings to you Mr Moss, stay in faith trusting the #almightygod,” another added.

“I don’t think people realize how hard it probably was for Randy, as a man, to ask for help. We are told our whole lives that’s a sign of weakness, and will do anything to avoid showing weakness. Prayers for Randy 🙏🏼 I hope he sees all the support,” someone wrote on X after the video was shared there.

TPS would also like to wish Randy the best as he continues to battle whatever he’s going through.

    Get well soon!

Fans think Taylor Swift may soon announce some big news after cameras caught her interesting interaction with Donna Kelce before the Kansas City Chiefs-Las Vegas Raiders Black Friday game.

Taylor Swift has been in a well-documented and highly publicized relationship with Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce for over a year. The Grammy Award-winning singer has naturally brought plenty more attention to the Chiefs and NFL.

Before Friday’s game at Arrowhead Stadium, cameras caught Swift interacting with Travis’ mother. Notice Swift delivering a “wink” to the person filming the interaction at the end of the video:

So unsurprisingly, fans are now convinced that Taylor Swift may be announcing some big news soon…including a potential engagement?

“I’m scared what’s that wink for what’s happening?,” one fan asked.

“They have to enjoy it now. Next season, TK may be retired.? It’s so great that they are both young enough to retire and never have any worries—good career and financial choices,” a fan questioned.

“Taylor Swift just winked at the camera, all parlays are going gold,” another fan said.

“Taylor what the fxck?! The wink? The pleased smirk afterward knowing the chaos that will ensue?,” another fan asked.

“Taylor Swift just winked at the camera, all parlays are going gold,” another fan said.

Odds are that there’s nothing significant about this, and that it was just another casual interaction between the two. But of course, it’s easy to spin things in the social media age…

Suspicious NFL Fans Think Something Fishy Is Going On After Video Emerges Of Patrick Mahomes & Ref During Raiders-Chiefs Black Friday Game

NFL fans are convinced that something fishy is going on after Patrick Mahomes was seen talking to head official Clay Martin in the Kansas City Chiefs-Las Vegas Raiders Black Friday game.

Like last year, the NFL refs have faced plenty of accusations of “rigging” games for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs here in 2024. And let’s just say that Martin did himself no favors by having a conversation with Mahomes during the first quarter of today’s Black Friday game:

As you would expect, football fans wasted no time teeing off on Martin and his officiating crew after this video went viral:

“Ref said I got you in fantasy today so we’ll Make sure you have a big game,” one fan said.

“How many calls you need today Pat?,” another said.

“i told you to tell me if they are getting close to me i know sir, im sorry sir just dont let it happen again,” one X/Twitter user said.

“Listen I gotta make it look somewhat close if I gave you every call people will catch on,” a fan said.

“Never beating the allegations,” one fan said.

    “This is usual,” wrote another.

“I know… I know… You need our help. Don’t worry we’ve got you,” another user said.

“Yeah man I got you but don’t be so obvious we don’t want the fans knowing your helping us,” said a fan.

If it makes you folks feel better, the officials have called a fair game between Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs and the Raiders. There haven’t been any terrible head-scratching or game-altering calls on either side.

Patrick Mahomes & Chiefs Are Aiming For A Three-Peat

No team in history has won three straight Super Bowls, but the Chiefs are already two-thirds of the way there. And as the owners of the AFC’s top seed, KC is looking at the task of needing just two home wins to get back to the big game.
