Thanksgiving is here, which means it’s also time for hot takes about the holiday, something Indiana Fever All-Star Caitlin Clark is ready to participate in. On Thursday, the Iowa Hawkeyes asked their players and coaches about their Thanksgiving hot takes, and the video was uploaded on Instagram.

When asked, assistant coach Raina Harmon said “pumpkin pie.” Afterward, she gave an emphatic thumbs down and then imitated the sound of a buzzer.

Clark acknowledged Raina in the comment section and even agreed with her.

Other players on the team also gave their hot takes, with some saying that turkey is not good. Meanwhile, another player said that they don’t like stuffing. The players didn’t agree on these hot takes, which resulted in some lighthearted debates.

Caitlin Clark shared her favorite and least favorite Thanksgiving food

Caitlin Clark wasn’t around to share her Thanksgiving hot takes with the Iowa Women’s Basketball team this year as he is now a pro. However, an old video of Clark when she was still in college has resurfaced where she talked about Thanksgiving food.

In the video, Clark shared her thoughts on her best and worst dishes.

“The best is mashed potatoes and gravy and then you just pour so much gravy on it that it overflows on your entire plate,” Clark said. “The worst is ham, ham is gross. Or like cranberries, or like stuffing.”

After Clark shared her opinions, two of her ex-teammates disagreed saying stuffing is the best. Afterward, one of her teammates said turkey is overrated, which prompted another player to cheer.

Meanwhile, the camera panned toward Clark who looked disappointed before saying that her teammates were weird.

Clark played her last season with Iowa in 2023-24. In her four years in Iowa, she averaged 28.4 points, 7.1 rebounds 8,2 assists and 1.5 steals.

She also racked up a number of accolades and achievements including becoming the leading scorer for Iowa. She broke and set multiple records in college and has continued to do the same in the WNBA.

In her first season as a pro, Clark scored the most points and dished the most assists by a rookie. She also set the record for most assists in a game and holds the league’s single-season assist record.

Clark averaged 19.2 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 8.4 apg and 1.3 spg in her maiden season. She was named an All-Star, and she was a part of the All-WNBA first team. She was also named Rookie of the Year.

Sydel Curry-Lee opened up about previous experiences with IVF

Sydel and Damion have two children together. The couple married in 2018 but had a tough time becoming parents and saw them go through IVF. Finally, in 2021, the couple welcomed their son, Daxon, and their daughter, Daryn Alicia, two years later.

Now welcoming their third child through IVF, Sydel has always been open about her pregnancy and spoke to her audience on YouTube about her journey with IVF during her second pregnancy.

Answering questions from her followers on her channel, the first question she received was whether her baby was a natural-born or IVF baby. Revealing that her second was an IVF baby too, Curry-Lee opened up about her struggles and provided a look into her journey:

“This was an IVF baby. We didn’t have to do another egg retrieval or IVF cycle. We had nine embryos left over, and so we just transferred another embryo and thankfully it worked on the first time, I transferred on December 3 in the Bay Area. All of our embryos are still in California, and that’s where they will remain.” Sydel said.

The mother of two also opened up about the process of transfer during the procedure, explaining that it can be a while before one knows whether they are pregnant:

“I would text Damion and I was like this is weird, I think it might have worked cause these are the things I’m feeling, I tested three days after the transfer. I tested every day up until day 14 past transfer and it just kept getting darker and darker and darker and dark. I think on day seven post transfer I got a big fat positive on a digital test.” Curry-Lee shared.

Now preparing for her third child, the social media influencer and mental health advocate had once confessed she would love to have four kids.

An unfortunate Boston Celtics fan has been going viral since Thursday night’s NBA Finals matchup against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Celtics put in a dominant performance, ruining Kyrie Irving’s return to TD Garden. But a shot of a fan sitting next to Taylor Rooks seems to be one of the most talked-about moments from Game 1 as it shows him speaking to a disinterested Taylor fidgeting with her hair.

Most assume the photo was from last night’s game, but it’s actually from last March and was originally taken by former Brooklyn Nets forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson when the Celtics played in BK.

That hasn’t stopped it from going viral again, however. Rooks shared it herself after it resurfacedon Thursday.

Thankfully, we have the fan’s account of what happened as BroBible caught up with him.

The fan asked that the publication not reveal his identity apart from him being a 25-year-old teacher from New England.

He explained how he got that good seat right next to Taylor Rooks but confessed he had no idea who she was.

“My girlfriend got the tickets for me for Christmas. We had four tickets at nosebleed level, but me and her dad moved down after scouting out some seats that no one was sitting in around the middle of the second quarter,” he recalled.

“So we had really good seats, but I get up and go to the bathroom and I come back and my seat’s taken. I had made friends with the guy in front of me and he was like, “I respect your hustle. The New England native revealed having asked Rooks some standard questions, which she obliged in brief responses.

Haliey Welch was already living a good life since that June interview, but things only got better this week.

Welch has been teasing her mystery man since she went viral for her “Hawk Tuah” catchphrase in June and ultimately revealed his identity for the first time on her hit Talk Tuah podcast.

In the highly-anticipated episode this week, Welch welcomes Pookie to the scene and gave fans their first look at her boyfriend, Kelby Blackwell.

Welch and Blackwell have known each other for three years, though their relationship has been on and off.

She never revealed him since their relationship only became official recently.

The three-time Super Bowl champion has been in a relationship with Taylor Swift for over a year. Their rumored romance was confirmed when Swift attended the Chiefs’ Week 3, 2023 home game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kelce’s romance with Swfit has been a giant win for the Chiefs and the NFL, too. She has brought plenty more attention to the NFL and contributed to the Chiefs’ skyrocketing popularity worldwide.

Naturally, conspiracy theorists believe the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift romance is simply a marketing ploy to help the Chiefs and the league. But Chiefs president Mark Donovan finally addressed the ridiculous rumor during an appearance on NBC’s “Squawk Box” program:

“I’d love to say that it was a marketing strategy, but it is an authentic relationship. And we’re happy to have it, and it’s been nothing but good for us.

I think the best thing I can say about the whole relationship and the impact it’s had on us is, Taylor Swift is an authentic member of the Kansas City Chiefs kingdom. She’s an authentic fan and that matters to our fans and our fan base and to matters to us and we try to respect that.”

I don’t know what’s going on out these streets. Obviously, talking to you and my other single friends, I noticed it’s tough. I hate it for y’all. Savannah, who dated LeBron since their high school days, kept her marriage with the Lakers star intact for over a decade with no signs of even mild controversies. Acknowledging the dating pattern of being intertwined with social media, Savannah’s approach of having more face-to-face conversations to further a relationship came as no surprise, who has remained loyal throughout her years with LeBron.

On her podcast, Savannah James made a major announcement about her current venture with the show. During the final moments of the episode, Savannah announced that “Everybody’s Crazy” merchandise will soon be made available, which includes bonnets, scarves, baby tees, candles, hoodies and also some of their favorite things.

 

With the growing popularity of her podcast, this seemed the right move from the duo as Savannah has a proven track record of successful business ventures. Apart from the pod, Savannah successfully runs her furniture line and skin care brand alongside her investment in LeBron’s tequila business.
